Job Description:
A company is looking for an Overpayment Representative (Remote)
to manage credit balances and refund requests.
Key Responsibilities
Process refund requests and determine refund status for various
insurance types
Handle customer service calls and communicate with insurance
carriers regarding credit balances
Research and resolve payment issues, including cancelled checks and
NSF checks
Qualifications / Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous medical billing experience preferred
Knowledge of IDX posting process
Ability to read and understand insurance company explanation of
benefits
Accurate 10-key skills
