• Job Details
• Responsible for performance of all levels of general testing within the analytical laboratory.
• Provides a high level of technical knowledge and application of that knowledge to department testing and clinical relevance.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
• Follows laboratory, hospital, and regulatory agency policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Performs cytogenetic testing with a high level of competency according to established protocols.
• Generates and reports results which are used for making accurate diagnoses and prognoses which influences patient care and management.
• Actively seeks to promote and help maintain a positive, team oriented and service conscious environment.
• Demonstrates knowledge and competency of laboratory computer systems.
• Responsible for accurate and timely result reporting, including communication and documentation of critical results.
• Utilizes critical thinking skills and exercises independent judgment to correlate and interpret data.
  • Job Requirements
  • 9 years of related work experience preferred.
  • Float Requirements: Floating may be required to any Centura location within sixty (60) miles of the original assignment location or Centura-identified 'float zone'.
  • Float assignments may include duties outside of original assignment job requirements in accordance with Centura policy.
