Soar Autism Center is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health
Specialist to join our team in Denver, Colorado.Job OverviewAs a
Behavioral Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in
providing high-quality care to children with autism and their
families. Our center is dedicated to delivering innovative and
effective therapy solutions, and we are looking for a dedicated
professional to help us achieve our mission.Key
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to children aged 2-6,
adhering to our center's high standards of care.
- Deliver therapy in both English and Spanish to support our
diverse client base.
- Implement intervention plans crafted by our expert BCBAs,
ensuring alignment with Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy
principles.
- Provide bilingual support during family meetings, communicating
in both English and Spanish.
- Foster relationships with families, keeping them informed about
their child's progress within the ABA framework.
- Engage in ongoing training and development, staying updated
with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification.Requirements
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish (Proficiency Test
required for additional pay increase).
- Strong preference for either enrollment in or completion of a
degree program. Bonus for degrees in Child Development, Psychology,
or related fields.
- Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification (Soar will
provide paid training).
- Previous experience with children and enjoyment working with
children.
- Must have reliable transportation to both training location and
local center. Punctuality is essential.
- Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit
and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs.,
sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a
chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch
up with a client.
- Ability to work on a team.What We Offer
- $20.50 - $26.00/hour with regular bonus and promotion
