UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join their team in Aurora, Colorado.Job SummaryThis is a full-time position that requires a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), or Licensed Addiction Counselor (ACD).The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing psychiatric patients, providing recommendations for disposition, and operating as an independently licensed behavioral health clinician. They will also serve as a primary communication liaison between clients, family members, emergency department staff, physicians, and community providers.The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and ethical professionalism, conflict resolution, and critical thinking skills. They will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.Responsibilities

• Assess psychiatric patients and provide recommendations for disposition
• Operate as an independently licensed behavioral health clinician
• Serve as a primary communication liaison between clients, family members, emergency department staff, physicians, and community providers
• Develop and offer safe and clinically appropriate disposition recommendations
• Support implementation of disposition recommendationsRequirements
