TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Denver, Colorado, 80218 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) / Telemetry Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 18:00-06:30 Guaranteed Hours: Experience: 2 to 5 years required; 1 year minimum License: Must have a valid CO or multi-state compact RN license Certifications: ACLS and BLS certifications required, must be from the American Heart Association Must-Have: - Ventilator/tracheostomy experience - Knowledge of central lines - Preferred wound care experience Job Description: - Provide patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. - Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment for safe care delivery. - Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education. - Delegate patient care priorities based on education and experience of available staff. - Provide direction and supervision to personnel delivering patient care. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6. - Must be flexible with the potential to float to other units as required. - Familiarity with the facility's electronic medical records (EMR) system. - Adhere to scrub colors/dress code as specified. 26066283EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Advocating for patients becomes more nuanced when dealing with diverse populations.
