Summary: Provide high-quality ultrasound procedures and patient care in a dynamic medical imaging department.

AdventHealth Littleton is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a valued member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retro peritoneal, small parts, and vascular exams. You will also provide quality patient care, preparing patients for exams, and responding to their physical and emotional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retro peritoneal, small parts, and vascular exams.
  
• Provide quality patient care, preparing patients for exams, and responding to their physical and emotional needs.
  
• Observe patient and equipment during procedures and report/document unusual occurrences.
  
• Correctly input charges and required data for procedures and supplies utilized during exams.
  
• Demonstrate effective time management and prioritize workload to meet productivity requirements.
  
  
  Requirements:
  
  
  • 
    
  • High School Diploma or GED.
    
  • ARDMS, RDMS (OBGYN) or (AB) or (BR) or ARRT, R.T. (S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS)(ARRT) or ARDMS, RVT(VT) with OB, or ABD required within 1 year of hire.
    
  • ARDMS registered RDCS(AE) or (PE) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS).
    
  • Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
