is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable,
Usable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Our engineers provide
subject matter expertise in the following engineering disciplines:
Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Testability, System
Safety, Human Factors, and Supportability. What You Will Do: This
is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Human
Factors Engineer to join us onsite in a closed area program with
the LCE team in Aurora, CO. As a Senior Human Factors Engineer,
your responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing one
or more MIL-STD-1472 compliant system safety programs Performing
MIL-STD-1472 Human Factors Program tasks and analyses, involving
management (task series 100), analysis (task series 200),
evaluation (task series 300), and verification (task series 400).
Coordinating with customer human factors representatives applying
methods, standards, and techniques to provide clarification of
system requirements to software, hardware, and test personnel to
ensure design and architecture considerations are appropriately
allocated to the system and horizontally integrated across the
development teams. Performing Human Factors planning, hazard
analyses and design analyses Briefing human factors considerations
at technical reviews and as part of the engineering approval
process Interpreting system requirements, customer specifications
and military standards Preparing internal and customer reports
describing various analyses relevant to the Human Factors program
Collaborating across multiple disciplines to gain a full
understanding of product architecture and design Interfacing with
other engineering functions: Systems Engineering, Software or
Firmware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering
Managing Human Factors Working Group(s) between key Raytheon and
Customer representatives This position is posted as ONSITE and will
be based at Raytheon's Aurora, CO location. Bachelor's degree in
Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 5 years
of relevant Human Systems Integration, Human Factors Engineering or
Safety Engineering experience. An advanced degree may account for
additional years of experience as required for this position.
Experience developing, implementing, and/or performing Human
Engineering Program Plans, Human Engineering Assessments and/or
Analyses, Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret
security clearance is required prior to start date. S. citizens are
eligible for a security clearance. Experience with DoD Human
Factors Programs e.g. MIL-STD-1472 Experience with user interface
and user experience implementation in an Agile Development
environment Experience interfacing with System Safety Engineering
showcasing execution of tasking involving MIL-STD-882. Experience
with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Proposal
Development Familiarity with Engineering Change Proposals,
Engineering Review Boards, System Safety Working Groups. S.
